This is only the 3rd enamelled Lord Howe Toby jug that I have had in fifteen years and in reality these are probably rarer than the earlier (c.1780) Ralph Wood etc examples! In lovely original condition and well decorated with the sides of the barrel marked "good" and "Aal" (Ale!) they made lovely Toby jugs but their spelling was atrocious!
