Creamware charger c.1790 - 1800 commemorating the ship "Boyne of Whitehaven"

This is an extremely impressive and decorative (15 5/8ths" wide) creamware charger c.1790-1800 which has been hand painted to commemorate the 12 gun, 3 masted ship Boyne of Whitehaven, 1794. The painting is of a very high standard, however, it is impossible to know when this work was done. To the base a later hand written note providing further information eg: registered in Liverpool 1799. In excellent unrestored condition with two small drilled holes to either side of rim for hanging
