Excellent creamware Toby jug Staffordshire c.1780

Excellent creamware Toby jug Staffordshire c.1780

Over the years I have had three fine creamware toby jugs which, in view of their relatively unique characteristics, are almost certainly from the same Staffordshire pottery - each has a larger than normal hat, forward sloping base and a very well formed small jug. This is perhaps the best of the three as the decoration is both unusual and beautiful (richly applied manganese, ochre, cobalt blue and green) and the condition is excellent with no restoration. Please contact us for additional information and a condition report.
