A fine early creamware Toby jug with an attractive plum coloured coat and raised pipe Staffordshire c.1780. An interesting Toby and clearly from the same pottery as Toby sn: 1/6464 for sale on page 3 (green coat) as the rear base is angled to the left giving the Toby a slight left slant.
