A fine and rare pearlware Tithe Pig toby jug by Ralph Wood Staffordshire c.1780. Crisply molded, richly glazed and in very good original condition. Ralph Wood "in the white" pieces are always well defined - the only added colour are the manganese highlights in the Parsons and the piglets eyes. This has been in my collection for several years.
