Plate 180 in Captain Price's "Astbury, Wieldon and Ralph Wood Figures" shows a picture of an identical Toby jug with the simple caption "FAKE"! In fact he is a very nice small mid to late 19th century continental Faience Toby jug in the style of the earlier English Toby's - a very pleasing FAKE!
