Large 18th century creamware tankard with pewter mounts inscribed "J.T." 1781

I love the fact that someone cared enough to preserve this lovely ribbed creamware tankard, which was evidently broken in the late 18th century, by having it mounted with a pewter lid and metal base and inscribing the lid with the initials J. T. and the date 1781 - 7 5/8ths" tall. Please contact us for additional information and a condition report.
