Amusingly, the caption on the reverse of the picture reads "One of the many cases of his Toby jugs houses the "SQUIRE JUG" which Lord and Lady Mackintosh are admiring" - of course you'll see that this is in fact a Ralph Wood Long Face Toby and I'm 95% certain that this is Lot 33 from the 1967 sale which I sold recently to a good friend in Kent and now forms part of his excellent collection. He doesnt know it yet (but will when he reads this)
the picture will be his "birthday" present from me!
