Whilst this is probably not a Ralph Wood Toby it has all of the quality of one! Crisply moulded and well decorated in translucent cobalt, ochre and manganese running glazes and a terracotta small jug. The thinner areas of glaze and the nibbling of the manganese on his hat are exactly what you find on the best early Toby's - in very good original condition - a great Toby!
