These tavern beer mugs are rare and this example (5 1/4" tall) is marked for Thomas Deall of Egham, dated 1768 and has a nicely moulded central slab depicting a horse - this may well be for the Packhorse pub in Egham. The mug has been broken and visibly glued together but looks fine - a very rare survivor
