Imposing "Royal" delft charger c1690 - 40cm wide

At 40 cm wide this is an imposing delft bowl or charger, well decorated in manganese and ochre depicting what may well be William 111 (William of Orange) on horseback - late 17th / early 18th century. William 111 was often depicted as a roman emperor as in his bronze statue by Rysbach erected in 1736 in Queens Square, Bristol. Please contact us for additional information and a condition report.
